PROPOSITION 107
CONSPIRACY?
“Supporting segregation need not be racist. One can believe
in segregation and believe in equality of the races.”
Ward Connerly, CNN, Dec. 13, 2002.
“I
don’t care whether they are segregated or not.” Ward
Connerly, regarding California public schools, S.F.
Chronicle, Sept. 2, 2003.
Who is Ward
Connerly?
Read the full story of the
efforts by Ward Connerly and buddies to allow all private
and public agencies to engage in racist practices without
fear of state information-gathering used to track
discrimination.
The
Elimination of Racial Identity
Ward Connerly promises to
pour money into Arizona in order to ensure passage of
Proposition 107. “I don’t want to win by a squeaker,” said
Connerly. Read the story.

Connerly’s Plans to Buy a Vote in Arizona

off anti-equal opportunity effort. $7.6 million and
counting.
The Color of
Money
There are many types of
conspiracies, here we define four:
-
Cabal,
an association between
religious, political, or tribal officials to further
their own ends, usually by intrigue.
-
Conspiracy (civil),
an agreement between persons to deceive, mislead, or
defraud others of their legal rights, or to gain an
unfair advantage.
-
Conspiracy (crime),
an agreement between persons to break the law in the
future, in some cases having committed an act to further
than agreement.
-
Conspiracy
(political), the overthrow of a government or limit
its effectiveness, by whatever means.
In keeping with the
anti-immigrant and the anti-ethnic studies legislations
passed this year, this anti-equal opportunity proposition
completes the “trifecta of white privilege laws” being
pushed by Republicans in the Arizona State Legislature.
After failing to garner enough signatures in 2008, this
unfair and unjust proposition has been fast tracked to the
ballot in a straight party line-vote. Don’t be fooled by
the intentionally misleading “Discrimination Prohibition”
slapped on this mean-spirited proposition.
It’s just another snow job
set up by Arizona’s extremist state legislators to entrench
and deepen inequalities. We oppose extremists who seek to
unravel they very fabric of our state and keep people of
color and women in their place, that is, locked out. Their
message: “We have power, you don’t.” Let’s send them a
different message by voting
NO on Proposition 107.
We will not be denied the
opportunity to be successful. |
